In addition to using all-natural supplements to kill yeast organisms, you also need to starve the little critters of their favorite foods with a candida diet. Yeast organisms seem to thrive on certain foods. During the time you use all-natural supplements to eliminate their overgrowth, you also need to follow a specific candida diet. You will fail to eliminate the yeast organisms from your gut if you don’t first eliminate from your diet the foods that nourish them.
There are many variations of the candida diet. The rules you are about to read are the simplest combination that I have found to be effective. Don’t despair. This is just for now, just for the next month, while you take your all-natural supplements.
The foods you must stay away from on a candida diet are all fruits, anything sweetened with added sugar (you must lose your sweet tooth), all gluten-containing foods (wheat, oats, barley and rye), all fermented foods, and all foods made with or containing yeast.
Use a natural or prescription anti-fungal regimen for one month while you follow the candida diet. You can determine if you are successful by the level of symptoms you are experiencing or by a repeat of whatever test revealed the yest problem in the first place. Repeat for another month if you feel the need.
