Ischemic Colitis

Ischemic colitis is a sudden swelling of the inner lining of the colon in which inflammation and injury of the large intestine result from inadequate blood supply. Ischemic colitis symptoms may include abdominal pain, bright red blood in the stool, diarrhea, fever, and vomiting.



Pseudomembranous Colitis

Pseudomembranous colitis is an inflammation of the colon caused by an overgrowth of bacteria. This overgrowth is caused by antibiotics and may lead to symptoms such as cramps, bloody stool and diarrhea.
