Gall Bladder Symptoms
Do you have gall bladder symptoms? Do you know what the symptoms of a gall bladder problem are? Do you know what your gall bladder is and does for you? Do you know about the negative consequences of having your gall bladder removed? Stay tuned and I’ll tell you.
Gall bladder symptoms can be described with one word: pain. And it can be bad. You may also experience nausea or queasiness, maybe some vomiting or gas that you never really had before. The pain can be so bad it takes your breath away and sometimes it can radiate to your right shoulder blade. A typical gall bladder attack can last between one to four hours.
The gall bladder sits just below the right ribcage and is actually behind your liver. It is a small muscular sack that stores bile which is an enzyme produced in your liver that helps you digest fats. When your body senses fat in your food, the gall bladder contracts and squeezes the bile into your food.
A number of problems can arise concerning the gall bladder. It can become infected, gall stones may form and block bile from exiting or it can become lazy and slow its muscular contractions. Infection might be treated with antibiotics, but may require surgery to remove it. Gall stones, depending on their size or if you have suffered a gall bladder attack and its acute pain, may also require surgery.
A gall bladder without sufficient muscular contractions may just be a symptom of an unhealthy, inefficient or imbalanced GI tract. Many times this happens in patients who have been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS. If you have IBS or gastrointestinal symptoms your doctor can’t explain, many times he or she will remove your gall bladder for no reason because even though you don’t have any of the problems I just mentioned, they’re lost as what is causing the symptoms you are complaining about. It’s a guess on their part. Don’t let them take your gall bladder if you can avoid it. Needless to say, if it’s infected or you have stones, that may be unavoidable.
If you lose your gall bladder, you still have a solution for your symptoms and especially if it’s IBS. Though you might experience some relief after surgery, many don’t or some will for a period of time and then all symptoms come back with a vengence. The reason why they come back is because you don’t have the ability to digest your fats as efficiently as you did before.
The solution is not to avoid fats, because they are necessary for human health and you don’t need to cut back on them for the same reason, ..eat lots of good fats like olive oil, the healthy fats in fish and nuts, but also take a specific digestive enzyme that I describe in my free report about Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Without help digesting the fats in your diet, you may experience gas, bloating, pain or dairrhea, or other symptoms.
