Simple Truth brand foods were recently announced by Kroger as their natural and organic product line. Simple Truth products will not include 101 artificial ingredients and preservatives. Unfortunately, they have not committed to the elimination of genetically modified (GMO) foods.

Simple Truth brand foods from Kroger will not include the following ingredients as shouldn’t any food for human consumption. The concept of avoidance of chemicals in your diet is a simple one, a simple truth.

The main tenent I have believed in since 1975 is that if man has created or altered a product…the body will not understand it and will have a negative response to it. That response will probably not be immediate, but what would be the long term effects of ingestion of these chemicals throughout your lifetime?

There are no studies that can answer that question. It either makes sense to you to avoid these chemicals or it doesn’t.

The Simple Truth brand is a great start for a mainstream grocery company.

Where is their objection to genetically modified (GMO) foods? I guess baby steps are better than none at all.
