Summary: Symptoms of peanut allergy can be mild or life threatening.  Peanut allergy symptoms can involve the bowels, sinuses problems or anaphylactic shock.

Symptoms of Peanut Allergy

Symptoms of peanut allergy are most well known in children and usually involve anaphylactic shock where swelling/itching of the lips and face occur along with difficulty breathing. Other symptoms of peanut allergy are diarrhea, cramps, nausea, vomiting, drop in blood pressure, rapid pulse, lightheadedness and tightening of the chest. Symptoms of peanut allergy can be life threatening and require a trip to the hospital or the use of an EpiPen which is a quick dose of adrenaline, used to quickly open the breathing airways.

Eliminate Symptoms of Peanut Allergy

If you experience symptoms of peanut allergy, the best defense is to reduce your exposure to peanuts that cause your reaction. Perhaps more easily said than done, but necessary if you have experienced the severe symptoms of a peanut allergy.
